The overall experience was not satisfying at all. Our room had no daylight, no possibility to let fresh air in as directly over all air con air waste air blasting out in front of the only window , super loud. Staff was not co-operative , no pickup even when you book the biggest room, the biggest room in the hotel wasnt even clean and no special treatment for a couple who was on their honeymoon. The hotel was fab. Room, breakfast, staff, surrounding were just perfect.

The four-pearl, 19th-century Hotel Romanico Palace is lavishly designed in imperial Roman style, with frescoes and city views from the seventh-floor dining room. The rooms feature Italian Baroque interiors, and suites have balconies or terraces some also have outdoor mini pools. Roman style also adorns the small, dimly lit spa -- its Turkish bath and sauna require a fee, and the gym is modern but cramped. An American-style bar is in the extravagantly decorated lobby, but some guests find the heavily gilded decor verging on tacky. Near the Piazza Barberini, the hotel makes a good base for visiting many of Rome's major sights. Travelers might want to also consider the Hotel Bernini Bristol, whose spa doesn't require a fee.
