By Courtney Traub. More than just a Carnival-like festival, Paris Gay Pride has also served as an important platform for supporting full civil rights for LGBT people in France and around the world. This is a joyful, sometimes a touch rowdy, but never intimidating event that brings together Parisians of all stripes—one that's not to be missed. Local politicians and celebrities are known to join the procession, and it's a bit like Carnival or Mardi Gras—colorful and willfully outrageous, full of music, dancing, creative drag, and floats. All are welcome—come as you are, and be prepared to live it up!
The parade starts each year at Tour Montparnasse and ends at Place de la Bastille. After the parade the party continues in the gaydistrict Le Marais. Paris was the host of Europride in

LGBT Pride events are one of a kind; you have to see it at least once to understand what all the buzz is about. The parade is the perfect occasion for LGBT bars, clubs, radio stations and associations to spread their message, through colorful floats and loud music, leaflets and other displays. Many large French companies, both in the private and the public sector, also have floats in the parade, to celebrate the equality and expression rights in the workplace. The same stands for major political parties. The LGBT March is put on by about 60 different organizations and their donors, that ensure the organization of the entire operation. Paris Gay Pride will leave at 2 p. Meet this Saturday June 29 from 2 p.
This event is a festive and fun occasion and aims to defend equal rights , reject discrimination and support the right for everyone to live the way they wish. The parade is organized by hundreds of volunteers, and contributes to the progress of equal rights. The festivities begin early in the afternoon, with numerous associations spread over some fifty or so floats for a parade lasting around 4 hours, along a designated route. Over one weekend, the city's parks and gardens invite you to celebrate the beauty of nature during Paris 75 Paris.

Hundreds of thousands will gather in the streets of Paris to celebrate and march in support of the gay, trans, bi, queer and non-binary communities. The Parade is inevitably a joyous, fun-filled and colourful event with music, dancing, elaborate floats, creative drag and rainbow flags taking over the usually sombre historical parts of Paris.
